the fine print November 2009: @shitmydadsaysNovember 11, 2009
Some of you will know from the @ symbol in the title of this blog post that we’re in Twitter territory here. But just relax. I am not wearing a short-sleeve dress shirt with clip-on tie and going door to door to give you the good word 2.0.
No, this is no sermon. This is the funny. It just happens to be on Twitter.
The guy’s name is Justin and, well I’ll let him tell it: “I’m 29. I live with my 73-year-old dad. He is awesome. I just write down shit that he says.”
That it’s a Cinderella story in the making — Justin having just accepted an offer from CBS to turn his 140-word homages to his cranky old bastard dad into a TV series — well, that just means you should start reading his tweets (yes, we call them tweets; get over it!) now, before he and his dad get all big-headed and unfunny.
Click here to read his Twitter page and no, you don’t have to join Twitter to read them (only to comment). Still scared? Then here’s a couple of samples:
“The baby will talk when he talks, relax. It ain’t like he knows the cure for cancer and he just ain’t spitting it out.“
And, because the web is all about karma, thanks to The Live Feed blog for the tipoff.
